This year, I’ve discussed elements of the Trend process in growing a business from managing the Status Quo to creating White Space innovation.  This month I am sharing three slides summarizing that process.  Use them to launch a White Space innovation effort by comparing the two Trend approaches side-by-side. It becomes clear how managing the Status Quo does not capture disruptive innovation and leaves a company vulnerable to emerging trends and new, more nimble competitors.
